Merlot

Softly rounded Merlot is one of the international red berry varieties that thrives in soil made up of clay and gravel, like the vines cultivated by the Dal Bianco family on its historic estate at Gorgo al Monticano, where the name Ai Palazzi originated.

To vinify only Merlot grapes was a pondered decision aimed at achieving a wine that would express to the utmost the softness typical of the variety, at the same time revealing special nuances from its Veneto origins and the oenological style that involves standing in Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months.
